Musicians
Bruce says: Milk comes from cows, not the grocery store. Music comes from people, not just books and iTunes. Some of the tunes I've taught in class came from some of the people below.

Recommended CDs of Traditional Music
These CDs are great places to hear Irish music played with style. Listening to great players, like the musicians on these CDs, is the best way to learn to play with style, yourself. Most of the playing on these CDs is solo, which makes it easier to hear what the musician is doing. These CDs are also sources of terrific tunes that can be played on the whistle, even if whistle is not played on the CD. These CDs can be hard to find but I suggest looking at the websites listed below. Some can even be found at amazon.com, though there's something to be said for supporting the merchants that support traditional music.
