Hello everybody,
Great website. I'm delighted to see you have a singing session.
I fought hard to get singing mentioned in the Bunreacht along with
music and dancing and it paid off at Congress last year. I won the
All Ireland ballad singing in 2000 in Enniscorthy (my home town)and
keep the singing flag flying in the UK with a session in London once
a month. There are quite a few good traditional singers in the London
area and like you we have songs from Scotland, England, Wales and
America. If you need words of any "Traditional Irish Ballads"
let me know as I have a large collection on my PC. Any keep up the
good work and if any of your branch are ever in the UK and would like
a session of music, contact me and I can let you know if there is
anything happening in the area. (I am also the Treasurer of CCE Council
of Britain)

Well, now I've done it. We have dropped the guestbook hosting
by BraveNet and have gone to a new script hosted on this server. The
advantage to this is that we have complete control of the page formatting
and we are now free of those annoying pop-up advertisement windows.
Woo-Hoo!!!
Also, I'd like to extend my thanks to Cathy Shea, our former Web
Master for doing such a great job in the past few years. Yes, she
has given up the mantel, and I now have taken it up.

Everybody I meet travelling across

Question since you are so into Cooley, why doncha do something
about the Poms who are busy threatening Irish vistors to your
state as I once was in 1988?
It appears that Bush's antiterrorism drive has given these losers

the description
of the caldedonian set, figure 4 is actually the clare lancers
figure 4. i noticed you got that from the brooks academy site,
which is also incorrect!!
are the instrucitons for the celedonian,figure 5, a local variation?
i have never seen a house at home after the house around in
this figure either here or in ireland.

there is a
possibility that I will be visiting a friend in frisco who lives
in the portrero hill area. How accessible will i be to your
set dancing classes (i notice that you have three locations)
from that location (I dont think I am going to have a car)
also saw that patrick odea was there last year. What a teacher.
He does workshops here (near the catskill's in upstate ny) and
is very good!!! Wouldnt it be great if my trip and his teaching
coincided.
